Strijdom van der Merwe's red steel tube land art in the Nirox sculpture garden. The experience of walking around the countryside and seeing large works in a landscape environment is exhilarating.

I loved the interesting dialogue created by Robert Hodgins's quirky graffiti of a figure peering at his work on exhibition at Gallery Art on Paper.
I loved Robert Hodgins's graffiti of viewers at his show of prints & watercolours at Art on Paper Gallery at 44 Stanley Ave. He filled in a few empty corners with quick sketches of people at an exhibition.
I found this wonderful painted damask cloth at J.A.B. Antiques in Melville, which apparently comes from a Masonic hall. Love the green wings!

I came across this delightfully eclectic jumble in Otto de Jager's garden today.

I love the way Tonic displayed the Hylton Nel plates and the Anthony Shapiro bowls and pots with a swordfish saw, turtle shell and whalebones.
I love the wit of this black diamond snake crawling over a pink sapphire apple! This is the Temptation ring from the Eden collection by Shimansky which I spotted at the opening of their new store in Sandton. Pic by Judd van Rensburg & Des Tak.
I saw these cool Chanel sunglasses with a quilted silver leather trim at Eyetique in Melrose Arch.
I love the neat round frame, as well as the signature Chanel quilted detail.

Dandelion Clocks from the new Sanderson range at St Leger & Viney is a fresh new take on the retro trend.

I love the latest Toile wallpaper from Zoffany, Le Temple De Jupiter.
It would be great for an entire room done with the matching fabric for soft furnishings.
